About imPACT
imPACT is a free programme, created by Cariocca Enterprises and Dynamic Heights, designed to break down barriers and create real career opportunities for BAME Youth in Greater Manchester.
We equip young people with the skills, confidence, and connections they need to succeed in their chosen industries. But we don’t stop at training—we work to secure internships that give our participants direct access to the professional world, ensuring they leave not just prepared, but with experience to navigate their futures in the professional world.
Cariocca's imPACT programme aims to:
• To provide young people with employability skills, work experience opportunities, alongside personal development coaching, and opportunities for mentoring post-programme.
• To raise aspirations, build confidence, and promote more opportunities for young people to explore different professions.
• To build sector-specific partnerships for internship opportunities with supporting organisations.

The Making Of imPACT
1990's
Positive Action Cariocca Training (PACT) was launched, providing young BAME people in Greater Manchester with training and work placements.
2023-Present
The programme was revitalised and transformed into imPACT, with the same goal of providing young people in the community the opportunity to learn key employment skills and gain valuable work experience.
