The imPACT Programme And Internship Project
The Training
Throughout eight sessions, the Programme Lead will guide participants in developing their employability skills and confidence, with a focus on:
Crafting strong CVs and cover letters
Preparing effectively for interviews and assessment centres
Gaining self-awareness, identifying strengths, and areas for improvement
Navigating workplace challenges
Personality testing
Maintaining mental wellness
Participants will also benefit from guest speakers across various industries, as well as mentoring and coaching beyond the sessions. To ensure personalised support, cohort groups are kept small.
This programme is completely free, with breakfast, lunch, and transport to and from the venue fully covered by Cariocca Enterprises.
The Internship
Upon completing the programme, we strive to place each participant in an internship aligned with their career interests. Previous cohorts have secured roles in marketing, finance, mental health therapy, web design, film production, and more.
Internships typically last between two to four weeks, with imPACT funding up to four weeks. If both the intern and the business wish to extend the placement, they are free to arrange this independently. In some cases, imPACT interns have even gone on to secure permanent roles with their host businesses.
